It’s time for The University of Winchester to show everyone how Rag is done! Raising and Giving Week is about getting as many people involved finding different ways to raise money for our three chosen charities, The Royal Marsden Charity, Naomi House and The Prince’s Trust.
Kicking off today is The Winchester Spirits Cheerleaders who are hosting a Cake Sale in The Terrace Bar, come down and let them brighten up your Monday with something sweet.
Wednesday sees the return on The Big Tidy Up, a fantastic event to volunteer to take part in and in return students who get involved will be given Free Entry to Bop! E-mail: [email protected] for more information and to
confirm your place.
Make sure you don’t miss out on Thursdays RAG ROCKS event, held in The Vault this event will see Dance Squad, Cheerleading and Capeoira showcasing their talents in order to raise money for the chosen charities. The night will also play host to Ben Miller and our very own Vice President of Education Tom Lowe and his band ‘The Grenades’. With more acts to be confirmed keep your eyes peeled around campus and on our website( www.winchesterstudents.co.uk) for more information.
Clubs and Societies will also be getting involved this week in different ways so make sure you look out for their events over Facebook and Campus to support them in raising money for the chosen charities.
