Below is an example as demonstrated by your friendly neighbourhood Communications Officer and Jack Hancock:
Armed with several buckets of lukewarm water and a determination to encourage students to donate, we raised money for the Children in Need charity. Sponges were 50p per throw, though we also offered an entire bucket at the price of £10. They proved popular.
It just goes to show how fun it can be to get involved in Student Union-related activities. Though it is a pity most don't involve sponges and the sight of an extremely wet Savannah imitating a penguin, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
It was a shame we had only brought a single towel.
